(Dallas) –
According to the July 2007 edition of Texas Monthly, Mills &
Williams is home to three of the top lawyers in the state. For
the third time, Tom Mills and Christie Williams have been named to
the magazine's annual list of "Texas Super Lawyers". Joining
them, partner Teresa Cain made her second appearance on this year's list of “Texas Rising Stars” – an honor roll of
up-and-coming attorneys who have proven their legal mettle and
earned the respect of other esteemed Super Lawyers. Ms. Cain
also made the list in 2005.
"Obviously this is a great honor for the three of us to be so
recognized," says Teresa Cain. "I think it speaks to the
consistent quality of our firm. Together we strive to be the
best, and this validates our firm's philosophy."
"Super Lawyers"
selections are based on surveys sent to lawyers across Texas and a
review conducted by a blue ribbon panel of their peers.
"Texas Rising Star"
selections are based on surveys sent to Super Lawyers across Texas
and a review conducted by an attorney-led research department. The
Super Lawyers were asked to vote for the best promising young
lawyers they had personally observed in action. Results from
balloting and the screening process were tabulated and the
candidates with the highest point totals were named Texas Rising
Stars. Fewer than 2.5 percent of lawyers in Texas receive this
honor.
The Texas Rising
Stars list includes attorneys in private practice, as well as those
in other types of practice, such as prosecutors, in-house counsel,
and public service lawyers. All Rising Stars are 40 or younger and
have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
Mills & Williams,

litigation. Dedicated to hard work, accuracy and integrity, they
